Today, Doshisha volunteer students were invited to Imao-sensei’s class for the AKP students’ ongoing survey project. The topics the students prepared were, “College student life,” “High school student life,” and “Japanese youth’s relationship to traditional Japanese clothing.”
The volunteer students commented, “I learned a lot about differences between college life in America versus Japan,” and “I was asked about what modern day Japanese people think of kimono, and it made me reconsider some things.”
