In the afternoon, Yoshida-sensei held a shodo (calligraphy) workshop. 7 AKPers took a stab at writing calligraphy.
After practicing how to draw lines with a brush, the students tried writing lots of different kanji.
Students practiced on a special type of paper that allows you to write with water.
After practicing, they then wrote kanji of their choice. First, Yoshida-sensei showed them an example.
Now presenting everyone’s work!
