Visits from Senpai

First, 2014-2015 AKP participant Marcus Helm (Whitman College) stopped by, followed by Omar Pineda (Amherst College), also a 2014-15 participant.

Right now, Helm-san is an ALT on the JET Program. He works at an elementary school in Nagai City, Yamagata Prefecture.

Due to his hairstyle, his students call him “Dango-sensei” (Mr. Dumpling)

Pineda-san came  to Doshisha through the Amherst-Doshisha Fellowship. Welcome back!

Helm-san and Pineda-san have both started a new life in Japan. Good luck to the both of you!
